Family Info: The Jackson Family's first generation began with the birth of Roosevelt Jackson, March 14, 1850's. Sammy met and married Mary Jemison in Jonesboro, AR. This union brought forth twelve children--eight sons: Sammy, Daniel, Bill, Grant, Otis, John, Jim and Charlie; 4 daughters: Fannie, Rosie, Sally and Mattie.
